Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists for full-time remote opportunities supporting school districts in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area during the upcoming academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for SLPs who are passionate about making a difference in student lives through virtual service delivery.
Details:
- Location: Albuquerque, NM
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12, depending upon need and experience. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department.
- Possession of or eligibility for New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) licensure for school-based services.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered with supervision plan.
- Prior experience delivering teletherapy in a school setting strongly preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and secure work environment suitable for remote sessions.
- Must pass background and fingerprint checks as required by school districts.
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
