Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for full-time roles with school districts in the Zion, IL area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are committed to supporting student success and fostering inclusive educational environments.
Details:
- Location: Zion, IL
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12 assignment based on need and qualifications. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to determine the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Completion of required practicum/internship hours under supervision
- Familiarity with Illinois special education laws and procedures
- Clear background check and fingerprint clearance through ISBE
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
