Job Description:
As a School-Based SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students across various grade levels. You will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver effective interventions and contribute to students IEPs, ensuring accessible and inclusive communication in the school environment.
Qualifications and Requirements California:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active California Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

Must meet all California Department of Education requirements for school-based SLPs

TB clearance and fingerprint clearance through the California Department of Justice (DOJ)

Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and familiarity with school-based documentation
