Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this position, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Current Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH)
-
Certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP preferred)
-
Active or eligible Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) teaching license with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement (Tiered License)
-
Completion of a background check and fingerprint clearance
-
Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
-
Maintain detailed records of student performance and therapy sessions
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and outcomes
-
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as necessary
