Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Gardner, KS area. We are seeking skilled professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed by supporting their functional independence and academic participation.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all Kansas state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Current and valid Kansas Occupational Therapy license issued by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts
-
Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
-
Completion of required background check and fingerprint clearance as mandated by the school district
-
Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' functional needs in the educational setting
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student goals
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEPs and 504 plans
-
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student participation in school activities
-
Document student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
-
Support the development of fine motor, sensory integration, and self-help skills
-
Promote safe and accessible learning environments for all students
