Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions in collaboration with local school districts in the Gardner, Kansas area for the upcoming 2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for SLPs who are passionate about making a difference in student llives.
Details:
- Location: Gardner, KS
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Elementary school assignment. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services
- Hold or be eligible for a Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) professional teaching license with an SLP endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
