Details:
- Location: Prescott Valley, AZ
- Full Time: 40 hours per week
- Caseload: The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on need and experience.
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements: - Masters Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid and current Arizona Occupational Therapist license issued by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities: - Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to occupational therapy
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in various educational settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, data, and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed
