Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct instruction tailored to students with disabilities
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education laws
Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
Knowledge of IDEA and Arizona Department of Education special education policies
Experience developing and managing IEPs and working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in Arizona public school settings
Familiarity with assistive technology and digital learning tools
Flexibility in supporting students across various grade levels and disability categories
