Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and licensed Physical Therapists for part-time positions with school districts in the Thomasville, North Carolina area for the upcoming school year. Details:
- Location: Thomasville, NC
- Part Time: 20 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12 grades, assignment based on needs and experience. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Candidates must meet all state and local requirements: - Valid North Carolina Physical Therapist License issued by the NC Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Successful completion of the NPTE (National Physical Therapy Exam)
- Up-to-date CPR certification (preferred)
- Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate students' gross motor and functional mobility skills to support access to educational programming
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with IEP teams
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and independence
- Maintain compliance with documentation, reporting, and billing standards
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
