Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Georgia state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

Valid Georgia state license issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
-
Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification for school-based practice
-
Completion of required background checks and fingerprinting per school district regulations

Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
-
Monitor and document student performance and adjust therapy plans as needed
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
-
Support development in articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication
