Applicants must meet all Georgia state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification for school-based practice
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
-
Prior experience providing teletherapy services or working in a remote learning environment preferred

Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a secure, distraction-free work environment

Familiarity with virtual platforms and digital tools for therapy and documentation

Successful completion of all required background checks and fingerprinting
Typical Responsibilities:

Provide virtual speech and language therapy to K12 students based on IEP goals

Conduct remote assessments and evaluations using appropriate digital tools

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
-
Document sessions, maintain records, and monitor outcomes in compliance with district policies

Attend virtual IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
