Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Fairfield, California area. This position is for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, with renewal opportunities based on performance.
Position Summary:
The School Psychologist will collaborate with students, families, educators, and school teams to promote academic success and emotional well-being through assessment, intervention, and consultation services.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data

Participate in eligibility determination for special education services
-
Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Support teachers and staff in developing and applying effective instructional and behavioral strategies
-
Provide individual and group counseling to students
-
Assist in crisis prevention and response planning
-
Promote inclusive educational practices and support student success
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state licensure and credentialing requirements, including:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field

Current and valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology

Completion of an accredited internship in school psychology

Knowledge of state and federal special education laws (e.g., IDEA, Section 504)

Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
