Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following state and local certification/licensure requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license issued by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
-
NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

Completion of required clinical internships
-
Fingerprint clearance and background check per Arizona Department of Education requirements
-
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities Include:
-
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Assess students fine motor, sensory, and functional needs and develop individualized treatment plans
-
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students participation and performance in school activities
-
Document services and progress; ensure compliance with state and district policies
-
Participate in IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
