Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified School Psychologists for a full-time position at a high school in the Gardner, Kansas area. This position is for the 20252026 school year, running from August 12, 2025 through May 27, 2026, with renewal opportunities based on performance.
Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist serving at the high school level, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to support student success through mental health support, evaluations, and strategic intervention planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify students learning and behavioral needs

Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
-
Offer individual and group counseling as appropriate
-
Consult with teachers and administrators on effective instructional strategies and classroom supports
-
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field

Valid Kansas School Specialist License with an endorsement in School Psychology issued by the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE)

Completion of an approved internship in school psychology

Strong knowledge of special education law, psychological evaluation tools, and behavior intervention techniques

Prior experience working in a high school setting preferred
