Requirements:
Applicants must meet all California state and local requirements, including:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited program

Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
-
Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
-
Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance with California education laws
-
Successful completion of required background checks and fingerprinting
-
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
-
Previous school-based experience preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
-
Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide counseling services to students individually and in groups
-
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student needs
-
Develop and support behavioral interventions and crisis response plans
-
Consult with teachers and staff regarding effective classroom strategies and accommodations
-
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district reporting requirements
