Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions in collaboration with local school districts in the New Oxford, Pennsylvania area for the upcoming 2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for SLPs who are passionate about making a difference in student lives.
This position is considering candidates for both on-site and remote work arrangements.
Details:
- Location: New Oxford, PA
- Full Time: 30-35hours per week
- Caseload: K-12 assignment to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)
- Must hold or be eligible for an Educational Specialist Certificate in Speech and Language Impaired through the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE)
- Completion of required state and district background checks, including:
- FBI Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- PA State Police Clearance
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Remote experience preferred if remote assignment is desired
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
