Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Michigan state and local requirements, including:

Valid Michigan School Psychologist License issued by the Michigan Department of Education

Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
-
Completion of a state-approved School Psychology internship
-
Familiarity with Michigans Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks
-
Must complete a Michigan Criminal Background Check and FBI Fingerprinting
-
Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
-
Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide counseling and behavioral support services to students
-
Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop effective strategies for student success
-
Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and MTSS initiatives
-
Assist with crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
-
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school district and state policies
