A fantastic school district in Lombard, Illinois is hiring a full-time School Social Worker to provide essential emotional and behavioral support services to students. As part of a multidisciplinary team, youll help create a safe and supportive learning environment for students of all backgrounds.
Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and group counseling services to students

Conduct social-emotional evaluations and participate in the development of IEPs and behavior plans
-
Collaborate with school staff and families to support students academic and behavioral goals
-
Provide crisis intervention and mental health support as needed
-
Maintain communication with community agencies and resources to coordinate services for students and families
-
Promote positive school culture and student well-being
Qualifications:
-
Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
-
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement

Experience in school-based or child-focused social work preferred
-
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to build trusting relationships with students, families, and school staff
