Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for full-time positions with school districts in the Mason, Michigan area for the upcoming 2025 school year. Were seeking compassionate professionals dedicated to supporting student success through psychological assessment, counseling, and educational consultation.
Details:
- Location: Mason, MI
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to determine the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - Valid School Psychologist license issued by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE)
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Completion of a supervised internship in School Psychology
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check
- Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, RTI, and MTSS frameworks
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
