Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for full-time positions with school districts in the Swanzey, New Hampshire area for the upcoming 2025 school year. Were seeking compassionate professionals dedicated to supporting student success through psychological assessment, counseling, and educational consultation.
Details:
- Location: Swanzey, NH
- Full Time: 30 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to determine the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - Valid New Hampshire Department of Education (NHDOE) School Psychologist Certification
- Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Completion of an approved internship in school psychology
- Current license or credential in School Psychology from the NH Board of Education
- Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprinting
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, psychological evaluations, and educational interventions
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
