Location: Louisville, GA (District-wide, servicing 5 schools total) Dates: August 5th, 2025 - May 22nd, 2026 Hours: Full-time (35-37.5 hours/week) Schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
About the Role:
You'll be an integral part of a collaborative and supportive district, working alongside another dedicated SLP to serve a diverse caseload of approximately 75 students across five schools. This role involves travel between school sites, and mileage reimbursement may be possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine student eligibility for IEP services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely progress reports, ensuring all IEP documentation is completed efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings, demonstrating proficiency in utilizing the GO-IEP (Georgia Online IEP) system.
- Be prepared to initiate services on the very first day of school.
Qualifications:
- Active professional Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Georgia is required.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Proficiency in utilizing the GO-IEP (Georgia Online IEP) system is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, make eligibility determinations, and write comprehensive IEPs.
- Recent experience in a school-based setting preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
For this contract licensed school-based professional position, we are offering an average hourly rate of $40-$50 based on experience.
