Job description:
The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assist in implementing therapy services in a school setting. Responsibilities include executing treatment plans, documenting student progress, supporting therapy sessions, and preparing materialsall while contributing to student success in communication skills.
Texas qualifications and requirements:

Associates or bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field

Current SLPA license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

Completion of clinical practicum or supervised experience

Must pass a fingerprint-based background check in compliance with TEA guidelines

Prior classroom or school experience is not required
