Requirements:
All applicants must meet local and state requirements to be considered for this role, including:

Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred (CFY candidates may also be considered)

Background check and fingerprint clearance through the Florida Department of Education
-
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
-
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning discussions
-
Monitor and track student progress toward therapy goals
