Job Overview:

Full-time position (37.540 hours per week)

Full school year contract (August 2025 through May/June 2026)

Caseloads will vary by assignment and may include elementary, middle, or high school populations

Responsibilities include direct speech/language therapy, conducting evaluations, documentation, and active participation in IEP meetings

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, school psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists

Bilingual SLPs are highly encouraged to apply due to the district's linguistically diverse student population, though this is not a requirement
Compensation:

Weekly pay range: $2,200$2,400 (based on experience, licensure, and qualifications)

Travel stipends available for eligible travelers

Housing and meal stipends may be offered depending on assignment location and distance
Required Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology

Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates with strong school experience will be considered

Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred

Must pass a background check and drug screening
