Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Fayetteville, NC area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting student mobility, access, and functional independence within the educational setting.
Position Overview:
As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will work with students across various age groups to assess physical and developmental needs, implement individualized therapy programs, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans.

Provide direct therapy services to students to enhance mobility, strength, coordination, and independence.

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.

Educate school personnel on strategies and equipment to support student physical development.
Required Qualifications:
To be considered, applicants must meet the following state and local requirements:

Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Current and valid North Carolina Physical Therapist license issued by the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Certification from the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.

Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP development.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
