Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker for a full-time position in Lincoln Park, Michigan. The role involves providing support services to students and families to promote academic and social success.
Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify student needs.

Develop and implement intervention strategies.

Provide individual and group counseling.

Collaborate with educators, parents, and community resources.

Participate in the development of IEPs for students requiring social work services.
Qualifications:

Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited institution.

Valid Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) issued by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).

Completion of a minimum of 500 clock hours of supervised social work practicum.

Valid Michigan School Social Worker credential (Preliminary or Professional Certificate) .

Minimum of one year of experience in a school setting.
