ESPED Knowledge Required
Minimum Requirements:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Valid Texas Licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists

Demonstrated proficiency with ESPED
-
Completion of all required state and district background checks
-
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to support student learning
-
Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement IEPs and intervention strategies
-
Provide direct counseling and behavioral support services to students
-
Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) process
-
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation using ESPED
-
Participate in ARD meetings and serve as a key member of multidisciplinary teams
-
Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
