Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and licensed School Psychologists for a full-time remote opportunity supporting partner school districts in the Dobson, NC area. Position Overview:
As a Remote School Psychologist, you will provide virtual psychological services including assessments, interventions, and consultative support. You will collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to ensure students' academic and behavioral needs are effectively met in compliance with IDEA and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual psychological evaluations for eligibility and re-evaluation under IDEA.

Interpret data and write comprehensive psychoeducational reports.

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and IEP planning.

Provide individual or small group counseling services to support social-emotional development.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement intervention strategies.

Support the development of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs).

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines regarding documentation and service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following North Carolina state and local requirements:

Masters, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from a NASP-accredited program.

Current and valid School Psychologist license issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).

Familiarity with virtual platforms and remote assessment tools (e.g., Q-interactive, Pearson tools).

Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP development, and special education compliance.

At least 12 years of prior experience in a school-based setting; remote experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a high level of professional accountability.
