Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following state and local qualifications:

Hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Speech Language Pathology
-
Possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Have or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (Clinical Fellows may be considered)
-
Pass a state and federal background check and fingerprinting
-
Experience in school settings is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with IEP goals
-
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations for students referred for speech/language concerns
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress
-
Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
