Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our dedicated team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, on-site position will be responsible for working with a K-12 caseload, providing essential psychological services to support students' academic and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic testing for students in K-12 settings to identify learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, and other psychological concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for accommodations and interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed, addressing mental health issues and promoting social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students academic and emotional needs.
- Implement behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing support to students with behavioral challenges.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to review student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Provide guidance and training to school staff on student mental health issues, behavioral strategies, and classroom management techniques.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Active School Psychologist License in Arizona.
- Experience with K-12 caseloads preferred, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, IEP development, and behavior intervention strategies.
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and administrators.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families, students, and school staff.
