Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time position with school districts in the Alexandria, VAarea. Qualifications:
All applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Valid VirginiaDepartment of Education (CDE) Special Services License with a School Psychologist endorsement
-
Completion of a supervised internship in a school setting
-
Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RtI) practices
-
Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the VirginiaDepartment of Education
-
Experience with IEP development and participation in special education eligibility evaluations preferred
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
-
Participate in eligibility determination meetings and develop IEP goals as needed
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and emotional development
-
Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students
-
Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management plans
-
Support MTSS and other data-driven intervention strategies
