Applicant Requirements:
To be considered, candidates must meet the following state and local requirements:

Masters or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved program
-
Valid Georgia PSC Certification in School Psychology

Successful completion of required background checks and fingerprinting

Experience in educational settings and familiarity with IEP/504 processes
-
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns

Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans
-
Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and staff regarding student needs and intervention strategies

Participate in multidisciplinary teams and response-to-intervention (RTI) processes
-
Support crisis intervention, behavior management planning, and student mental health initiatives
-
Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
