Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified School Psychologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Columbus, GA area. This opportunity is for the 20252026 school year (August 2025 May 2026) with potential for renewal based on performance.
Position Details:

Full-time, contract-based

Onsite role within local school district(s)

Caseload and specific district information will be discussed during the interview process
Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
-
Interpret test results and provide feedback to students, parents, and educators
-
Develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
-
Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
-
Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
-
Maintain accurate and confidential student records
Requirements:
-
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
-
Active Georgia certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
-
Compliance with Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) requirements
-
Familiarity with federal, state, and local special education laws and regulations
-
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
-
Previous school-based experience preferred
