Qualifications:
All applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Current Kansas State SLP License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered
-
Valid KansasTeaching Certificate (Speech-Language Pathology endorsement) may be required depending on district
-
Recent school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting as required by the school district
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations of students with speech and language disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings

Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication logs

Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and professional development
