Position Overview:
As a School-Based SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication challenges, enabling them to succeed academically and socially. You will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs

Provide direct therapy services to students

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid Louisiana state SLP license
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred)

Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
