Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, onsite contract position in Houston, TX. Starting pay is $44 per hour, based on experience.
As an SLPA, youll play a key role in delivering therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP. This school-based opportunity combines hands-on student support with the stability and benefits Blazer Jobs is known for.
Job Duties:
- Implement treatment plans created by supervising SLP
- Provide direct services to students with communication challenges
- Assist with documentation and data collection
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student progress
Federal and Texas Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in SLPA or Communication Sciences
- Active Texas SLPA license
- Bilingual Spanish
- Supervision agreement with licensed SLP as required by the state
- Background clearance through TEA
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
