State and Federal Requirements:

Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program

Job Description/Duties:

Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or social challenges

Conduct assessments and create support plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and IEP teams

Address attendance issues, crisis intervention, and social-emotional development

Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources

Support students with disabilities and advocate for appropriate educational services
