Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: New Orleans, LA
We are currently seeking a certified School Psychologist to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position plays a critical role in supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral development through assessment, consultation, and intervention services.
Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need

Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student success

Provide direct and indirect counseling and behavioral interventions

Support crisis prevention and response efforts within the school community

Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
Requirements:

Certification from the Louisiana Department of Education to practice as a School Psychologist

Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, special education law, and best practices in intervention

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
-
Experience working in a school setting is preferred
