Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must meet the following state and local qualifications:

Hold a valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license through the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Possess or be eligible for South Carolina Department of Education certification as a Speech Language Therapist or Pathologist
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates may be considered
-
Ability to pass a background check and school district onboarding process
-
Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
-
Provide speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
-
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech/language needs
-
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
-
Maintain documentation and reporting in compliance with district and state guidelines
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
