Occupational Therapist Full-Time Mokena, IL 20252026 School Year
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time role with school districts in the Mokena, IL area. This position is for the upcoming 20252026 school year and will serve students in Pre-K through 3rd grade.
Position Details:
Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students fine motor, visual motor, sensory, and functional skills

Develop and implement individualized goals and therapy plans within the IEP framework
-
Provide direct and consultative OT services to students
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to support student progress
-
Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and help design school-based interventions
Qualifications:
-
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
-
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
-
Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Support Personnel Endorsement in Occupational Therapy (or eligibility to obtain)

Certification through NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Excellent communication, organization, and team collaboration skills
