Responsibilities
Typical duties for this School Psychologist role include, but are not limited to:

Conducting psychological and educational evaluations
-
Participating in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Providing counseling, behavioral, and academic interventions
-
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
-
Interpreting assessment results and making recommendations for instructional strategies
-
Supporting crisis intervention and prevention efforts
-
Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet all Illinois state and local requirements to be considered:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement

Completion of a state-approved internship
-
Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance
-
Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
