Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our team in the San Francisco, CA Metropolitan Area. This school-based role offers flexible full-time opportunities working with a diverse student population. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech and language services and collaborate with educational teams to support student success in academic and social settings.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment data and team input
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students learning and communication goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current with best practices and state/federal guidelines in speech-language pathology
Qualifications: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
- Previous experience in school settings preferred but not required
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Familiarity with IEP systems and documentation tools (e.g., SEIS or similar) is a plus
