Typical Job Duties:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess academic and behavioral needs.

Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.

Provide direct counseling and mental health services.

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school teams.

Assist in crisis intervention and management.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation according to state and federal guidelines.
Education and Licensure Requirements:

Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Valid Louisiana state license or eligibility to obtain before start date.

NASP certification preferred.

Knowledge of IDEA and state regulations related to special education services.
