Opportunity Details:
Location: Louisville, GA (District-wide, 5 schools total) Dates: August 5th, 2025 - May 22nd, 2026 Hours: Full-time (35-37.5 hours/week) Schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Caseload: Approximately 75 students. You will be splitting a 150-student caseload with another SLP within the district, which will require some travel between schools (possible mileage reimbursement available).
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Contract Licensed School-Based Professional, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse student population.
- Conducting assessments, interpreting results, and making determinations or recommendations on student IEP qualifications.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Delivering direct and indirect therapy services.
- Maintaining accurate and timely progress reports.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Being prepared to initiate services on the first day of school.
Special Requirements:
- Active professional license in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Candidate must be proficient in GO-IEP (Georgia Online IEP).
- Candidate must be willing to test out and make determinations or recommendations on whether a student still qualifies for an IEP.
- Candidate must be prepared to start services on the first day of school.
- Candidate must be familiar with keeping up progress reports and completing IEPs.
- Must be willing to obtain licensure in the working state and travel over 75 miles from home.
