Contract School Psychologist - Kansas City, KS
- Dates: August 8, 2025 May 21, 2026
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
- Caseload/Details:
- Early Childhood and Elementary caseload
- Work at one dedicated school site
- Primary duties include conducting evaluations and developing IEPs

Requirements:
- Active Kansas School Psychologist license is required.
- Recent experience in a school setting, particularly with early childhood and elementary populations, is preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain licensure in the working state if different from current licensure.
- Must be willing to travel over 75 miles from your permanent residence.
Job Duties:
As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services.
- Interpreting assessment results and writing clear, concise evaluation reports.
- Developing individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams and families.
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations for educational interventions and accommodations.
- Providing consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student learning, behavior, and social-emotional development.
- Collaborating with other school professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
