We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join a supportive district in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This is a fantastic contract opportunity with options for part-time or full-time hours, offering the flexibility you need.
Position Details:
- Location: Ypsilanti, MI
- Start/End Dates: ASAP June 6, 2026. Extended School Year (ESY) services are also available from June 17, 2025 August 1, 2026.
- Hours: Part-time or Full-time availability.
- Caseload: K-12 students.
- Work Arrangement: Open to hybrid models (combination of on-site and remote work).
Job Duties:
As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting student success and well-being. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students.
- Interpreting assessment results and writing clear, concise reports.
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing direct and indirect services to students, including counseling and intervention.
- Consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student needs and behavioral strategies.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of school-wide mental health initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
Requirements:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license is required.
- Masters in School Psychology from an accredited college/university.
- School-based experience is preferred.
- Active professional license is required.
Compensation:
This is a contract licensed school-based professional position with an average hourly rate of $45-$55 based on experience.
