Blazer Jobs is currently scheduling interviews for full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) positions for the upcoming 20252026 school year with school districts in the Corpus Christi, Texas area. Details:
- Location: Corpus Christi, TX
- Full Time: 40 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (CFY candidates will be considered based on district requirements)
- Must meet the Texas Education Agency (TEA) qualifications for working in a public school setting, which may include certification as an SLP through TEA
- Successful completion of background checks and fingerprinting as required by the state and local school district
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
