Typical Job Duties:

Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including progress notes and IEP documentation.

Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans.
Education and Licensure Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid Texas state license or eligibility for licensure before start date.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred.

Knowledge of IDEA, ADA, and relevant state education guidelines.

Prior experience in a school-based setting is a plus.
