We are seeking candidates who are passionate about helping students improve mobility, access, and participation in the educational setting. Renewal opportunities may be available based on performance.
Responsibilities:

Perform assessments to identify students gross motor, mobility, and postural needs

Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals

Deliver direct therapy services in school settings or via virtual platforms (as applicable)

Consult with educators and families to support student participation and safety

Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
-
Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications for accessibility when appropriate
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all California state and local requirements, including:

Valid California Physical Therapist license issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Doctorate or equivalent)

Current certification in CPR/First Aid (as required by the district)

Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance

School-based experience preferred but not required
