Typical Job Duties:

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to address students occupational therapy needs.

Facilitate activities that help improve motor coordination, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior skills.

Integrate therapy into the educational environment by collaborating with teachers and staff.

Monitor and report student progress toward IEP goals.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional guidance as needed.
Requirements:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

Current Virginia OT license issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine

NBCOT certification

Must meet all federal and state qualifications for working in a school setting
